Following stations in Durtal, Avoine, Pardies, Pierrelatte and Amiens, Oreve is expanding its ultra-fast charging network and will inaugurate its sixth public station in Vénissieux in the Rhône-Alpes region on 23 October 2025, in the presence of Mr Djilannie BEN MARBROUK, Deputy Mayor, Delegate for Economic Development and Business Relations, Mr Nicolas Dourassoff, Managing Director of Obornes, the electric mobility subsidiary of the Ortec Group, and Mr Bruno Logel, Director of the Ortec Group’s Energy Division.
This network expansion is part of an ambitious development plan: “The rollout of the first Oreve-branded stations in France is a milestone towards our goal of having more than 260 stations tailored to the needs of professionals and individuals by 2030,” according to Nicolas Dourassoff, Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Obornes.
The Oreve station in Vénissieux (38 rue Eugène Hénaff 69200) is designed to meet the decarbonisation challenges faced by businesses and local authorities by supporting them in their efforts to reduce their carbon footprint. The originality of the Oreve concept lies in its ability to accommodate all types of vehicles, including light vehicles, commercial vehicles and heavy goods vehicles, in dedicated spaces that are accessible 24/7 and offer convenient services during charging, such as a relaxation area, free Wi-Fi, a drinks/snack vending machine and toilets. All our facilities are equipped with photovoltaic shade structures and allow people with reduced mobility to take advantage of specially adapted spaces and the various amenities offered by the station.
The Oreve station has 360 kW ultra-fast charging stations for optimal time savings, with eight charging points, four of which are specifically for heavy goods vehicles and four for light and commercial vehicles. Two additional ultra-fast charging stations will be added to this facility within the next two years. Attractive rates are offered to transport professionals, as well as subscription packages and a personalised management platform for professional fleets with Oreve PRO charging cards that are interoperable with a large network of partners throughout France.
