In the context of accelerating the energy transition in road transport, Oreve announces the upcoming opening in Mondeville of its tenth electric charging station dedicated to heavy-duty vehicles and professional fleet vehicles, located in the heart of one of the main industrial zones of the Caen metropolitan area.
Situated within the southern industrial zone, the ultra-fast Oreve station benefits from an environment that is particularly well suited to logistics and industrial activities. This area, which brings together several hundred companies, forms a key economic hub in close proximity to Caen. Directly connected to major road networks, the zone offers optimal accessibility for heavy goods vehicles and hosts many major players in the transport and logistics sectors.
The Oreve station in Mondeville is designed to meet the needs of heavy-duty vehicles, utility vehicles and light vehicles. It is equipped with ultra-fast charging points, initially delivering 400 kW, ensuring a reliable service available 24/7.
The site currently offers six charging points, including two compatible with Autocharge for heavy-duty vehicles. Two additional ultra-fast charging stations will further strengthen the facility over the next two years. Designed for user comfort during charging, the station includes a relaxation area with beverage and snack vending machines, free Wi-Fi access, restrooms, green spaces, as well as solar-panel-covered canopies equipped with photovoltaic panels.
This new Oreve electric charging infrastructure is part of a broader effort to support changing usage patterns by facilitating the adoption of more sustainable mobility solutions by professionals in the region. To this end, Oreve offers competitive pricing, subscription plans, and interoperable charging cards compatible with a wide network of national partners. A dedicated management platform is also provided for professional fleet operators.
In addition, the Oreve mobile app available on iOS and Android offers private users advanced features such as station location, real-time monitoring of charging power and charger availability, start of charging sessions, and tracking of consumption history.
