Expansion of the Oreve ultra-fast charging network for electric vehicles in Lons.

Oreve continues its expansion and announces the opening of its ninth public ultra-fast charging station in Lons near Pau, strengthening its network for electric mobility.

Following the Oreve stations in Durtal (49), Avoine (37), Pardies (64), Pierrelatte (26), Amiens (80), Vénissieux (69), Bonneville (74), Luisant (28) and now Lons (64), this network expansion is part of an ambitious development plan: « The roll-out of these first Oreve-branded stations in France is a milestone towards our goal of having more than 260 stations adapted to the needs of professionals and individuals by 2030 » according to Nicolas Dourassoff, Managing Director.
The Oreve ultra-fast charging station is opening in Lons (8 avenue André-Marie Ampère) in the heart of the business district, which is home to numerous companies and offices. This strategic location is also in close proximity to residential areas, including homes and schools. This location offers a major dual advantage: it meets the needs of both professionals, who are very present in the area during the day, and private individuals, residents and passing users. It is therefore fully in line with the type of stations we have designed to support the transition to electric mobility for all audiences.

The Oreve station in Lons, covering an area of 4,100 m², will offer dedicated areas with ultra-powerful 400 kW charging points featuring:

  • 4 charging points for electric semi-trailer lorries,
  • 4 charging points for light vehicles (and 4 additional charging points in two years

Guaranteeing ultra-fast charging available 24/7 and suitable for every type of vehicle.

Services at the station complement the offering to improve user comfort and experience during charging: a relaxation area with Wi-Fi, disabled toilets and, coming soon, drinks and snack vending machines. The Lons station is a key charging point, promoting more sustainable mobility for both professionals and private individuals.

We would like to thank the town of Lons, the BEAUPRE company represented by Mr Jean-Louis Nicolas and Thierry Mayet from the Tourny Meyer agency, as well as all our partners and businesses for their contribution to the creation of this station.

The opening of this station complements the Oreve station in Pardies (14 Chemin Départemental – 64150), which has the same number of charging points as the one in Lons. The Pardies station is more dedicated to industry professionals. After a year of operation, this station has shown encouraging results, with more than 33,430 kWh contributing to the avoidance of 1.7 tonnes of CO₂.

These two stations in the Pyrénées-Atlantiques department are part of Oreve’s regional network strategy, which aims to provide transport companies and users with reliable and innovative charging infrastructure throughout France.

For professionals, Oreve offers attractive rates and subscription packages, as well as Oreve PRO charging cards that are interoperable with a large network of partners throughout France. A customised management platform is also available for professional fleets.

The Oreve app (available for download on iOS and Android) also offers advanced features: station location, terminal availability check, charging start, charging history, etc.
