The Oreve ultra-fast public recharging station for professionals and private customers was inaugurated on 25 September 2024 in Durtal (6 BIS rue Joseph Cugnot, 49430). This first Oreve site, a subsidiary of the Ortec Group, is a concrete expression of the Group’s desire to support companies developing their fleets of electric vehicles in their efforts to reduce their carbon footprint.
A solution designed by manufacturers for the electromobility needs of professionals
‘Oreve was born out of the Ortec Group’s need to charge its own growing number of electric vehicles simply and efficiently. Today, we are going one step further by providing companies and local authorities, who share the same problems, with a reliable, secure and appropriate solution’, announces André Einaudi, Chairman and CEO of the Ortec Group.
The Oreve station in Durtal (Maine-et-Loire) comprises five IRVE (Infrastructure de Recharge de Véhicule Électrique) charging points, each with a capacity of 400 kW, for a total of 10 charging points. The site is configured as a turnaround station, allowing traffic to flow smoothly while providing charging spaces identified according to vehicle category: light, commercial, heavy goods and semi-trailer vehicles. The station is covered by a shade roof equipped with photovoltaic panels (70 kW peak) to meet the site’s charging and electricity needs, in a short circuit.
Accessible to all, Oreve stations are designed to meet the needs of companies managing professional fleets and local authorities, as well as their drivers and professional vehicle operators. Offering infrastructure that is accessible 24/7 and optimised charging times, Oreve stations also offer services for the comfort of users (rest area, free Wi-Fi, drinks dispenser and toilets).
An app available on iOS and Android offers practical functions such as locating stations, checking the availability of charging points and starting charging.
With a target of 260 stations across France by 2030, the Oreve network is supporting professionals operating near Low Emission Mobility Zones (ZFE-m). ‘By focusing on regional coverage, Oreve is facilitating the transition of professionals and regions to electromobility,’ comments Nicolas Dourassoff, Managing Director of Obornes.
